When you begin to analyze the things that violate the “Law Of Love” or the “New Covenant,” you can easily see that adjustments must be made. For Love is what never Fails. Grieving the Spirit Of God puts undue Strain on Grace. And that’s his ability to come in and rectify the situation. Never forget the mercy God has extended to you.
Let’s define these words:
Corrupt: of poor or bad quality, rotten useless, depraved.
Bitterness: harshness, hence met: an embittered (resentful) spirit.
Wrath: anger, passion; punishment, vengeance. rising up from an ongoing (fixed) opposition.
Clamor: screaming (shrieking) that is extremely boisterous, like a wounded person emitting “unearthly” an out cry
Malice: a) evil (i.e. trouble, labor, misfortune), (b) wickedness, (c) vicious disposition, malice, spite.
Ephesians 4:
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
