If I come in the door one way and go out the same way I came in. Then a change was not made in my heart. But if I come in a door and go out beaming and shining with light, then I received Jesus in my heart and He has made Himself known unto me. When we approach spiritual matters; that of being born again, another term is being saved, we must approach with our whole heart. We must earnestly ask Jesus to come inside. Just like you would ask earnestly of a friend for help. I promise you that He will come. I’ve seen the light come on in many men and women’s lives. They are so different and happy. And they remained thrilled with Christ as they continue to feed upon His word.
Here is a vital key, you may not fill any different initially, but just believe that when you asked him to save you, He did exactly what you asked. Then feelings are on the way, He will manifest Himself to you from the inside out.
Rom. 10:8b-11 The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
