John 15:1-8
Can a branch bare fruit if it is cut off from the vine? No. What happens to the branch once it is cut off? It begins to wither; it begins to die. But staying connected, that branch can produce fruit that is soo delicious. That’s how it is when we remain in fellowship and we remain in the word amen? Sure. You see Jesus is the Vine, we are the branches and God the Father is the Husbandman; or the one who is the keeper of the garden. Jesus said in verse 5 of John 15, ” The one who remains in me, and I in him, will bare much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.” Verse 7 If you remain in me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
He then goes on to talk about how God is glorified in the earth. This is to my FATHER’S GLORY, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples. John 15:8 (Berean Study Bible Version). God is glorified when you produce good fruit.
