It’s the first fruit of the spirit that shows up when your born again.
It starts out in seed form in you. But here is why it appears so difficult to acquire.
You have to tend to it like you would tend to a seed put in the ground. You’ve got to be a farmer of love in your own heart. Watering the knowledge of it by praising God. Keeping weeds away from it , by disengaging from evil thoughts surrounding it. Taking steps and actions first very small, just smile sometimes. Then answering every negative situation with God’s positive light and power in his word. If you falter, get up and go at it again. God is for you. You’ll see that most of the problems of life will be eliminated by the growth and development of this fruit.
Luke 17: 5,6
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ( a seed that you carefully protect in the ground so that it can grow) ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
It doesn’t matter the size of the seed, take care of it and it will grow. Did you know strife is a seed and it grows into fruit as well. Don’t tend to that anymore, root it out.
